The working principle of the evaporator

Working Principle of the Evaporator:
The heating chamber supplies the heat required for evaporation to the liquid, promoting its boiling and vaporization; the evaporation chamber ensures complete separation of the gas and liquid phases. The vapor generated in the heating chamber carries a large amount of liquid droplets. Once it enters the larger space of the evaporation chamber, these liquids can be separated from the vapor through their own condensation or the function of demister devices, etc. Usually, the demister is installed at the top of the evaporation chamber.
According to the movement status of the solution in the evaporator, there are:
Circulating type. The boiling solution passes through the heating surface in the heating chamber multiple times, such as the central circulation tube type, basket type, external heating type, Lepin type and forced circulation type, etc.
Single-pass type. The boiling solution passes through the heating surface in the heating chamber only once without circulating and is immediately discharged as concentrated liquid, such as rising film type, falling film type, agitated thin film type and centrifugal thin film type, etc.
Direct contact type. Heat transfer occurs directly between the heating medium and the solution, such as in submerged combustion evaporators. During operation, evaporation equipment consumes a large amount of heating steam. To save heating steam, multi-effect evaporation devices and steam recompression evaporators can be used. Evaporators are widely used in the chemical, light industry, and other sectors.
