Basic Introduction of Filters
Jan 12,2024
Filters are indispensable devices on the pipelines for conveying media, usually installed at the inlet end of equipment such as pressure reducing valves, safety valves, constant water level valves, and other devices. A filter consists of a cylinder, stainless steel filter screen, drainage part, transmission device, and electrical control part. When water to be treated passes through the filter screen of the filter, impurities are blocked. When cleaning is needed, just remove the detachable filter screen, clean it, and reinstall it. Therefore, its use and maintenance are extremely convenient. During operation, the water to be filtered enters through the water inlet, flows through the filter screen, and exits through the outlet to the required pipeline for the process cycle. Particulate impurities in the water are trapped inside the filter screen. This continuous cycle causes more and more particles to be trapped, and the filtration speed gradually slows down. Meanwhile, the incoming wastewater continues to flow in, and the filter holes become smaller and smaller, resulting in a pressure difference between the inlet and outlet. When the pressure difference reaches the set value, the differential pressure transmitter sends an electrical signal to the controller, which starts the drive motor through the transmission components to rotate the shaft, and at the same time, the drainage port opens, and the trapped impurities are discharged through the drainage port. After the filter screen is cleaned, the pressure difference drops to the minimum value, and the system returns to the initial filtration state and operates normally.
