I. How to recover the refrigerant of an industrial chiller to the liquid reservoir?
The specific operation steps for recovering the refrigerant from the industrial chiller to the liquid reservoir are as follows: 1. Open all the valves of the industrial chiller's cooling system, and turn the suction stop valve counterclockwise to make it fully open. Then, use a multi-purpose connector to connect the repair valve to the suction stop valve. 2. Close the repair valve and adjust the suction stop valve to the three-way position. 3. Rotate clockwise to close the outlet stop valve of the liquid reservoir. 4. Start the refrigeration compressor of the industrial chiller, and the main force in the evaporator will be drawn into the condenser and the liquid storage tank.
Ii. How to recover the refrigerant of an industrial chiller back into the gas cylinder?
Refrigerant is stored in dedicated cylinders. When recovering the refrigerant from an industrial water-cooled machine into the cylinder, 1. First, connect a repair valve with a pressure vacuum gauge to the bypass hole channel of the suction stop valve, and then adjust the suction stop valve to the three-way position. 2. Turn the exhaust stop valve counterclockwise to the fully open position, unscrew the plug of the bypass hole of the exhaust stop valve, and install the multi-purpose connector. 3. Use a hose to connect the empty refrigerant cylinder to the multi-purpose joint of the exhaust stop valve, but do not tighten the joint at the end of the refrigerant cylinder for the time being. 4. Slightly open the exhaust stop valve to release the air in the connecting hose, then tighten the joint. 5. Fully open the valve of the refrigerant cylinder and continuously rinse the cylinder with cooling water. 6. For the pneumatic compressor, slowly close the exhaust stop valve clockwise, and the refrigerant in the industrial chiller will be gradually pushed into the refrigerant cylinder.
Whether the refrigerant of the industrial chiller is recovered to the reservoir or the cylinder, as long as the refrigerant recovery is completed, the pressure gauge at the suction end will be 0.01MPa. After the compressor is turned off and running, if the pressure does not rise, it indicates that the refrigerant recovery is complete. If the pressure does rise, it indicates that the refrigerant has not been recovered completely. The above method should be followed again.
